Queen of Peace Choir
The Queen of Peace Choir provides vocal music for funerals at Holy Cross. Under no formal direction, this choir consists mostly of senior men and women who, like all involved in Holy Cross music ministry, graciously give of their time and talent whenever their services are needed or requested. In addition to funerals, the Queen of Peace Choir also sings for other special Masses and events throughout the year.

Celebrator Choir
The Celebrator Choir is made up of men and women who are high school age or older. Its members are dedicated individuals of varying musical abilities and backgrounds who share a love of singing sacred music of all types. The ability to read music is always a plus but is not a requirement to join this choir. The Celebrators typically sing at the 09:15 a.m. Mass every other Sunday except during the summer months. Dean Niquette is the director of the Celebrator Choir.

Keyboardists and Cantors
We have a very outgoing and dedicated team of individuals who serve our parish as pianists, organists, and cantors at Mass. If you are interested in joining our music ministry in one of these capacities, please contact the Rectory office, 920-766-3773, to set up a brief interview.

Holy Cross Organ
Holy Cross Organ
The original organ at Holy Cross was built by the Wangerin Organ Company of Milwaukeeand was installed here when the present church was built in 1916. The pipes were originally located at the center of the gallery (choir loft), and the organ case still shows evidence of this. The organ was rebuilt in 1941 at a cost of $4,650. At this time the pipes were rearranged into chambers on either side of the gallery, allowing the St. Cecilia window to be viewed from inside the church. This remains as the core of the present instrument. A second console was installed near the Sanctuary in 1994 to make the organ more versatile. In 2003, Kaukauna organ builder J.C. Taylor added several ranks of pipes and gave both consoles solid state relays and switching along with several other upgrades. The added ranks were installed between the existing organ chambers, closing off the entire length of the gallery. The expanded organ now consists of 34 stops (10 pedal; 13 swell; 11 great) over 25 ranks, and a set of cathedral chimes, and is considered to be the largest and finest in the Heart of the Valley. It was rededicated on November 23, 2003 by Michael Burkhardt. Organ specifications
